Mobile Foundation のクライアント SDK は、認証およびセキュリティーのメカニズム、プッシュ通知および SMS 通知、リソース要求、分析データの収集など、MobileFirst の各種フィーチャーを開発者が実装できるようにする API メソッドのセットを提供します。
好みの開発環境とツールを使用してモバイルまたはデスクトップの Web アプリケーションを開発し、MobileFirst のフィーチャーや機能をクライアント・アプリケーションに追加できるほか、分析データの収集もサポートできます。
MobileFirst フィーチャーが有効になった Cordova アプリケーションを作成するには、Apache Cordova CLI や Ionic など、Cordova をサポートしている任意の開発ツールを使用します。 プラグイン、各種ターゲット・プラットフォームをサポートするためのコード、コマンド・ライン・ツール、IDE などのソフトウェアを、開発ツールのサプライヤーから直接入手します。 次に、MobileFirst Server のバックエンド・サービスなどの MobileFirst 機能を使用するために、MobileFirst 機能をサポートする Cordova プラグインをアプリケーションに追加します。 このようなプラグインは、IBM MobileFirst Foundation Developer Kitに含まれています。 プラグインは npm からダウンロードすることもできます。
ネイティブ iOS/Android/Windows アプリケーションを開発するには、MobileFirst のフレームワーク・ファイルを Xcode/Android Studio/Visual Studio プロジェクトに追加する必要があります。
